Battery Powered Tea Kettle
A bit of friction can kill an experience. Waiting just a bit too long for software to compile means you lose interest and do something else.
Yes, you can strengthen your attention and be content sitting and waiting for something to finish. I am also doing this but I am a fan of pushing all fronts forward. You can also reduce the idle time.
For this project, I want to reduce the time to boil a liter of water by adding batteries to a tea kettle.
It will double as a portable water boiler for being able to make tea while away from an outlet.
